Yishu Li

Hi! I’m Yishu Li, I’m a second-year MSR student advised by Professor David Held at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. I graduated from Computer Science and Technology Department in Tsinghua University with a minor in statistics at June 2024.

My general research interest lies in general manipulation, generative policies, and combining theory with learning algorithms. Specifically, I’ve been working on adaptive manipulation, making generative policies learn and adapt from history interactions.

During undergrad, I had the priviledge of working with Professor Li Yi on hand-object interaction video understanding, and Professor Yongjin Liu on 3D vision.

I am actively seeking PhD opportunities starting in Fall 2026.
